Linked below is a video from a New Jersey private school English teacher, Dana Stangel-Plowe. In the video she explains her experience in the classroom with critical race theory and its negative impact both on students and on teaching. HSD’s mission statement speaks to the creation of “independent thinkers.” In Ms. Stangel-Plowe’s opinion, CRT is inimical to independent thinking. She resigned rather than go along with this private school’s pledge to follow a radical orthodoxy.
